US Loan Auditors General Counsel Raises $5,500 For The Muscular Dystrophy Association of Sacramento

General Counsel Jim Sandison Raises Fundraising Event’s Highest Amount in Only 15 Days

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – June 25, 2009 – US Loan Auditors Chief Legal Counsel, Jim Sandison, knows he has plenty of friends across the greater Sacramento area. He recently raised the largest amount of “bail money” contributed to the Sacramento Muscular Dystrophy Association in this year’s annual fundraiser.

“I was happy to see the financial support come in for this very important cause in our community,” Sandison said. “It will really make the difference in the lives of some needy local children.”

The $5,500 donation accumulated in less than three weeks was the largest single amount contributed by a donor during this recent fundraising event.  This donation alone will help the local organization send five Sacramento children to the MDA camp, as well as fulfilling other needs.

“My original goal was $4,800.  I really wanted to get a cabin for the MDA campers,” said Sandison. “But we really exceeded even that goal.  The extra funds will go along way toward benefiting the organization in Sacramento.”

Each year, MDA conducts more than 90 camps across the country to give disabled children a chance to have fun, get outdoors and overcome their disabilities. For more information about the MDA summer camps, please visit their website at www.mda.org/clinics/camp.
