Father and Daughter wanted for Arrest in CA

Agustin Ramirez, age 60 and his daughter Guadalupe Ramirez, age 31 are wanted for arrest in California on a million dollar warrant.

The pair is accused of conspiring to obtain over four million dollars in mortgage loans and obtaining kickbacks from those fraudulent mortgage loans.

A Kern County Superior Court Judge issued the one million dollars warrants which allege that both the father and daughter committed fifteen felonies including grand theft of property and money laundering.

Prosecutors involved in the case allege that between 2006 and 2007 Augustin Ramirez purchased five properties in which he claimed he would be occupying the home. He obtained the properties with the assisted of his daughter Guadalupe who is a former real estate agent. The loans involved immediately went into foreclosure as no payments were made on the mortgage loans. The pair received large cash kickbacks from the sellers of the properties by obtaining inflated appraisals.

The pair is still at large.
